REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian airline Sky Aviation will receive the first Sukhoi Superjet-100 after the company signed the certificate with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) on December 29. The MSN 95022 will be delivered from Ulyanovsk to Indonesia in January 2013.
Sky Aviation will include the new aircraft in its commercial operation. The document states that the aircraft has meet criteria in its performance.
The document also emphasizes that Sukhoi Superjet-100 will be equipped with a complete set of operational documentation, maintenance and flight kit.The aircraft is ready for commercial operation based on Sky Aviation flight plan.
The cooperation seems unaffected by the tragedy on May 9 2012. During the joy flight, Sukhoi Superjet-100 crashed into Mount Salak in Bogor.
The incident caused 45 died but the aviation authority said that the tragedy caused by human error instead of the technical failure.
